Sewing Level 1

Learn the basics of machine sewing and create a simple project. First, we will teach you how to wind a bobbin, thread the machine, and navigate the interface of a computerized sewing machine. Then, you will learn basic stitches. With these skills you can make any number of simple sewing projects at the makerspaces at East and Sand Creek libraries, as well as Library 21c. No previous experience required. All materials and equipment will be provided. Makerspace classes can fill up quickly, so it is best to sign up when registration opens. If you are unable to be part of this class, you can find other sewing classes at all three makerspaces. All participants must have their own library card.
