About this event
On view through Oct 10, 2026 (gallery hours Thu–Sat 1–6 p.m., or by appointment). Simulacra (or, The Persistence of Nature in an Age of Mediation) brings together Dornith Doherty, Etsuko Ichikawa, and Bill Viola, who examine how the natural world continues to assert itself through images, technologies, and systems of preservation—refracted rather than erased. Works include Bill Viola’s Moving Stillness: Mount Rainier 1979, Etsuko Ichikawa’s Broken Poems of Fireflies, and Dornith Doherty’s Archiving Eden seed images. Free admission. Marie Walsh Sharpe and Project Space Galleries, Ent Center for the Arts.
