About this event

Students learn how lye and fats react to form glycerin and soap salts through saponification, exploring how oils affect hardness, lather, and conditioning. They’ll make 11 bars of custom soap with their choice of fragrance and color while gaining a clear, approachable understanding of the chemistry behind everyday cleaning.
